How To Know How Many SIMs Are Registered On My Aadhar Card

Want to see a list of all the phone numbers linked to your Aadhaar card? It is possible through a website made by the Department of Telecommunications (Dot) that lets people see how many phone numbers are linked to their Aadhaar number. At first, only people from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana can use the portal. It’s mostly useful if you want to stop any connections that don’t happen anymore. The phone numbers linked to your Aadhaar number can also help speed up the “Know Your Customer” (Kyc) process that banks and other government agencies need.

How Many Mobile Number Link With Aadhar Card

In April, the Department of Telecom (DoT) released the Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection (TAFCOP) portal. This lets telecom customers look up all the phone numbers linked to their Aadhaar number. At the moment, the portal is only available in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. However, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) said that it would soon be open to all customers in the country.

In the FAQ page, it says that the TAFCOP portal is meant to “help subscribers check how many mobile connections are working in their name and take the necessary steps to regularise any additional mobile connections they may have.”

Phone Numbers Registered Against The Aadhaar Number

There are rules from the DoT that say each user can register up to nine mobile connections. Once that number is reached, any new connection bought under the same name will be seen as a group connection used for business. So, you should use the TAFCOP site to check the count. This is how it can happen.
